I wrote a little function to make a personalized map of who follows you or who you follow on Twitter. The idea for this function was inspired by some plots I discussed in a previous post. I also found a lot of really useful code over at flowing data here.

Alicia Berger
Sad to say that Alicia passed away on the 18th of September. She was hit by a Toyota pick-up while crossing 175 late at night. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

A good description of some of what i think is hard about Open Source. It isn’t that the model doesn’t work, it is that it is essentially different from our existing models. I have hope that we will grow into a model of working that is more collaborative and better fits the model of sharing information and rewarding innovation.
